What is a metal/steel construction technician?

Metal technicians in steel construction manufacture steel parts for buildings and production halls, gantries, containers, etc., then assemble the parts into complete structures on site. Their tasks include measures for surface and corrosion protection (primarily by applying anti-rust coatings and paint), as well as maintenance and repair of existing structures.
